Vesicourachal diverticulum in the urinary bladder of a dog. The diverticulum is extending from the bladder cranially (to the right in the picture). The diverticulum was patent (open) for about 4 cms, then it continued as a ligament to the umbilicus. This condition was discovered in a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel during surgery to remove bladder stones (note the sutures present in the bladder). The diverticulum was removed.
