Walters family and friends, Glen Aplin, ca. 1924 The Walters family established the first sawmill at Glen aplin in 1921. Some of the family are pictured outside their home at Glen Aplin with friends. They are from left: Keith Walters, Lew Walters, Ray Wilsons, Jerry O'Brien, who is holding his son Con O'Brien and Les Gentle. The truck in the background is a 1921 International with a top speed of 15 m.p.h. There is an Applegum log on the truck. (Description supplied with photograph.).
