Cong - Friendly town dog greeting tourists on Main St The town dogs in Ireland amaze me, as they are unleashed and free to roam, yet they do not cause any problems that I am aware of and they are super friendly. I sure don't see this in the USA, as most dogs here would bark at, and possibly threaten, a stranger who approaches them.
