Indooroopilly Toll Bridge, Brisbane, 1936 This suspension bridge spans the Brisbane River, connecting Indooroopilly to Chelmer. Walter Taylor was the driving force behind the contruction of the bridge, being promotor, constructor and engineer of the company which was formed. Construction began early in 1932 and the bridge was officially opened on February 14, 1936. [Information taken from: The Indooroopilly toll bridge : a souvenir of the official opening day, 1936].
