While 9-year-old Ryan Muñoz works on homework, the family's cat Missy lounges in a chair Oct. 12, at 14 Sumner Place, Fort Leavenworth, Kan. Since moving into the Rookery, the Muñoz family has witnessed paranormal activity, including seeing Missy's hair stand on end - except in a hand-shaped spot on her back - while the cat appeared to be held in place and fearful.
