A domestic cat (black-and-white neutered male domestic longhair) in an apple tree. Cats are natural climbers and love to spend time in the branches where they have a good view of their surroundings. If you look carefully, you may note that the cat in the picture is actually wearing a leash and a harness; he's used to it, and generally knows how to come down the same way he went up without getting the leash tangled. I don't let him climb so high that I couldn't get him down safely even if the leash did get stuck.
